We would like to thank all the people that’s been emailing us and showing their appreciation to our cause of helping others to start earning at home. As you know, this site is a non profit site and we do pay some bills to keep this site going. But all is well that ends well. As long as we can continue to help others, we will always keep this site running. Now, with a lot of emails we get, they are asking if there are some more jobs that are easy to do at home. Jobs that you need your computer and nothing more. Jobs that are capable to make a living yet still have the edge to be interesting and of course, be at home. 🙂
Here are some.
A lot of people are dreaming of landing on their ideal home based jobs to escape the daily grind typical of the rat race. Admittedly, working at home has a lot of benefits. It is pretty much more flexible and much less stringent as compared to your typical day job.
For one, you work around your schedule. You can choose your most productive hours and work around your family commitments. You don’t need to set your other commitments aside just because you can’t take some time off from work.
Second, you save time and money. Working from home means you don’t need to travel to and from the office. That means you don’t have to get up as early in the morning and you don’t need to be dead tired at the end of the day. You also won’t need as much budget for transportation since basically, your office is just a few feet away from your bedroom. As an added bonus, the less time you spend travelling, the higher your productivity becomes.
And lastly, working at home means less stress and anxiety. Let’s face it, there are a lot of people who take joy in bringing people down. Sadly enough, you may be working with some of them. You can avoid mingling with these kinds of people when you’re working from home.
However, not all people know what types of home based jobs are currently available and where to look for them. If you’re one of them, here’s a list that may help you get that home based job you’ve been looking for all along.
Get paid to write simple articles. This is one of the most popular home based jobs options available today. If you have the ability to write simple articles that are free from grammatical errors, this may be the job for you. A lot of websites are on the lookout for writers and are willing to pay for written content. Some websites may offer to give upfront payments for articles while others are willing to let you in on a revenue sharing scheme, meaning you get paid on how many views your articles make.
Be a Professional Freelancer. You can also make a good income by offering your services as a freelancer. Some of the most widely sought after freelancers are those who offer copywriting, article writing, and editing services, as well as those who are proficient in web development, programming, designing, coding, and scripting.
Be a Virtual Call Center Agent. This is one of the recent trends taking the online world by storm. A lot of companies are hiring more and more home based workers to answer customer inquiries in their virtual call centers. If you want to work as a virtual call center agent, you should have a reliable, high speed internet access, a dedicated phone line, and a quiet home office to do the work. You’ll also need to install the necessary software and hardware required to do the job.
Data Research & Data Entry Jobs. If you have a decent typing speed, and enjoy filling online forms, collecting data, editing images and formatting documents, then a data entry job may suit you best. All you need to do this job is a computer and a reliable internet connection.
Online Transciption Jobs. There are two main types of online transcription jobs – medical transcription and legal transcription. In medical transcription, you’ll be transcribing medical recorded reports so a familiarity with medical terms and legal standards that apply to health records is a must. Those with previous experience or have a diploma or associates degree in medical transcription are most likely to land a job in this field. Legal transcriptionists, on the other hand, are tasked to create and edit documents based from a legal professional’s dictations. While there are no formal trainings required, it is important to have a solid understanding of legal terminology and a good command of the English language.
Be a Virtual Assistant. If you had experience working in the real business world as a bookkeeper, administrative assistant, office manager, or paralegal, among others, you may have what it takes to be a virtual assistant (VA). Most VAs are entrepreneurs working from their home office who provide clerical, secretarial, and administrative support, as well as creative and/or technical services for a client. If you’re interested in becoming a VA, there are a number of online associations that can provide you a lot of helpful information.
Be an Online Tutor. If you have a college education and suitable teaching experience, you can apply for a job as an online tutor to companies that offer help on a variety of subject areas to students of all ages.
Obviously enough, this list is non-exhaustive. There are a lot of home based jobs that we still haven’t discussed. However, for the purposes of this article, it is safe to assume that we’ve included enough to inspire you to start looking for home based jobs that will suit your abilities and your preferences best.
